Evening all, ive been speaking to a few remaping companies today and there seems to be a bit of confusion over if my car will be able to be mapped via the obd port or have the chip changed in the ecu.
Mine is a mid 97 1.8t agu. Is there any definitive way of me telling which route to go down? Prefix number on the ecu etc?
I only ask as some "tuners" dont want to mess around soldering new chips into an ecu and id rather not waste time driving to someone who cant work on my car if it cant be done via obd.
