A6 cd changer

HELP CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A FUSE FOR THE CD CHANGER I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 1997 A6 SE LOADED THE CD CHANGER IN THE BOOT NOW I HAVE NO POWER AND THE RADIO (WHICH WORKS) SHOWS A MESSAGE CD 00 ERROR cannot remove the cd cartridge as there is no power i.e blue light not lit cds are not copies

have found fuse if anyone else has the same problem remove cd changer from car unscrew outer cover fuse is at bottom of changer be careful with screws they are very small

Hi

If it has allowed you to load the disc, ie taken the magazine in and out, then power must be getting to the changer. It sounds like it can't read the disc.

Have you tried another disc? If it is a home made disc, try a pre recorded..

Hi i HAVE 99 se a6 an d have the same problem with the cd changer not powering up, i have removed the unit and the small screws and im inside but i cant find the fuse! Can you help me!!
