New Q7 towbar

Hi, does anyone know what, if any, options are available for retrofitting a tow bar?

I think it would be dependent on the kind of towbar. I'm sure you could fit a 3rd party one that stays permanently in place.
As for the actual OEM towbar with the retracting system, I'd think the undercarriage area of the car would need to have been pre-moulded with a storage receptacle for the towbar and the motor unit. (unless all cars are made with that receptacle).

The westfalia removable tow bar is now available. Mine was fitted yesterday. The electronic module is not available until sometime in Jan, so mine is on a temporary bypass.

It does require a bumper cut out, but you cant see this unless you kneel on the ground and peek underneath. I do however have the cut piece, and may try to fashion a cover.
