Parts interchangeability

Hi Everybody!

I have a 2001 Alhambra TDI and it needs a number of new parts.:(..

An aircon pump
Pre-heater
and drivers seat and airbag ECU (after the airbag went off:zx11:)

I am hoping to try and a get these parts second hand and wonder if anyone knows if the parts for the Alhambra, Sharan and Galaxy are all interchangeable assuming they are roughly the same age:confused:?

i'm in the same boat with a 2002 model. there are many common parts between the two and finding an alhambra breakers is hard. you can try these people......aintree spares on 0151 521 7755. they have just broke an alhambra on a 2004. i got a load of bits on friday......if you look at the parts you want it will have a part no. on the back starting with 7m, that is the seat/vw part no. if it also has one starting with a y or ym thats the ford part no. hope this helps you and good luck. mine in tomorrow for new clutch and cam belt.....youch!:mad:

I am sure someone will confirm but I understood the cars all came off the same production line in Portugal.
