A3 - Sat nav going slow!

I know this sound weird buy my sat nav is going slow! It's generally a few hundred meters behind where i actually am........this means instructions are announced after I've passed the junction!

It's been working perfectly for 2.5yrs, this issue just started last week.

It's still under warranty and is going into Audi next week but thought I'd run it past you guys first!

Disconnect battery from the car for a while and if they reach join the two battery leads together as it'll empty any capacitors left slightly charged. It'll force the gps to re-find you. Not had it with an Audi GPS but it fixed a Honda GPS I had a look at.

Antenna failure according to Audi. Being replaced under warranty

Must be a powered antenna then? Can't see how a generic aerial which is just a peice of wire can fail?
