Hi
My name is Claire and I live in Bromsgrove in the Midlands. I have just bought an 07/07 Golf GT TDi 170PS 5 door in Diamond Blackand it is called scrabble because the letters in the reg plate represent the highest scoring ones in a Scrabble game AND because all of that torque does tax the traction control! I don't think of myself as a VW fan but have owned

1995 Golf Mk3 1.6
1996 Golf 1.9 TD CL
2002 Polo 1.9 TDi Sport
Only done 300 miles in it so far and it does seem a scream. It is standard apart from a central armrest and cruise control. How do I tell if it has xenons? I have heard about a high level computer - mine shows mpg etc on the instrument binnacle - is that it?!
The car was bought for practical reasons - my commute to work is 150 miles a day and so far so good fuel wise. Only thing I am having trouble adjusting to is to not stall it trickling away from roundabouts!
