New member and in need of some help

My name is Luke and i own a Gold VW Golf Mk4 1.6 16v 2002 hatchback with a AZD.

I was going for my MOT but got it aborted as there was oil in the smoke so a guess it was the valve stem oil seals or piston rings or maby big end bearings.

So i have stripped the head of and tested the rings (rings fine) and notice that the oil was coming from bank 1 valve stem oil seal.

On removal of all the exhaust seals I notice that they all was perished. So new head set at £40 and now there all replaced and ready to go back on the car but dose any one know the cylinder head bolt tightening sequence?

Hi Been for the MOT and it failed on high CO at 0.96% and high HC can't rembember that score. On the plus side my engine is no longer burning oil. I am in the process of cleaning the CAT and O2 then going back for an emissions test. Any thing eals I could do as well as a good blast to get the cat hot to help my emissions.
