Can anyone help please. Audi A3 s line Sportback tdi 57plate. It had a new clutch, master cylinder and DMF on the 8th October and has only done 800 miles since then. It's developed a fault.
Engine off all gears and reverse as smooth as silk. Engine on all forward gears go in but notchy and reverse not selectable ?
Sound familiar to anyone ?
Really need some urgent help please. Thanks
Stuart

Possibly air in the clutch system

It's a start. No idea how to fix that but can't think it is an expensive thing to start with.

The release bearing is inside the box (on the six speed) and is an all in one what is known as "concentric" unit and these can be a bit tricky to get the air out of as the bleed nipple (next to the starter, 9-mm spanner) is well before the bearing and you have to coax the air back up the tube to get it to bleed. We use a pressure brake bleeder.

Just spoken to the garage that did the work and they think it's air as well. Said its a bit of a pig to do. Taking there Wednesday but going try and find someone local to do it as its about 50 miles round trip.
