Audi A3 Difference between 2007 and 2008 models

I'm just about to buy an Audi A3 2.0 TFSI S line. I've been told that the model changed in 2008. Can anyone tell me when the change took place in 2008 and what changes were made? Is there a distinct advantage ti a 2008 model over pre 2008 models?

They face lifted the cars. See: Audi A3 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_A3#2008_update) (you can compare the photos). In practice, in my experience, it tends to be the 2009 registered cars that are the first face lifted versions.
