150 and 184bhp differences

I am contemplating a new car and favour an A3 2.OTDI Quattro with the 184bhp engine. I also want a manual gearbox, but this is available only with the 150bhp version. Are there any physical differences between the two engines, eg larger turbo, or could I buy the 150 and simply have it re-mapped?

they both tune well.

we consistently get 190hp from the 150 and 220ish from the 184hp version with a custom tune :)
