Hi,
I have a 1989 Golf 1.3, I have been noticing that the fuel gauge doesn't seem as accurate as it use to be.
When I go uphill the gauge reads a different level as when I go downhill. And then on the flat (or in the garage) I think or I hope it's reading correctly. I am presuming it's something within the fuel sender or float mechanism. But I am not really sure what, if its a little fix I can do that myself, i don't want to pay VW prices.:(
Many thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas what could be wrong.
