MK3 Cabrio Replacement Soft Top

Just bought a 1997 Mk3 Golf Cabrio with a vinyl soft top. Dutifully 'modified' by local vandals!!

Managed to get a replacement Mohair soft top via Ebay and have managed to remove all the way to the rear of the car. Reasonably straight forward.

Does anyone know how to get the rear of the soft top off the car and then how to replace?

I cant find anyway to get at it other than removing panels inside the rear of the car.

Would really appreciate your help
