Audi A6 2012 - Gearbox Malfunction: you can continue driving

Hi,
i have recently purchased an Audi A6 2012, 3.0 quattro and it is bringing up this error.
i have had it diagnosed and the fault it detects is: 8030 - Cooling Oil Valve.

The car itself drives perfectly fine and has no issues.
This message is displayed whilst the car is cold, as soon as the car gets warm the error is gone.

With the car being 2012, it has just come out of warranty, i am after advise if people have had this issue?
i have read it may have something to do with mechatronic unit.

any help is appreciated

Asked my dealer here in Norway, and they offered me a repair for 1190 GBP(!) after Audi covering for parts (but only 70%).
They said the mechatronic foil in the gearbox needs replacement.
October 6. is scheduled for this repair.

What OS are you using and how much RAM do you have. Have you tried turning it on and off again?

OP, you both failed to say what type of gearbox this is;

S-Tronic
TipTronic
MultiTronic (CVT)

Just out of interest, if it's common to a particular type. Keep us updated.

S-Tronic on my A7.

I had a bad feeling you were going to say that, as all the info online re. mechatronic foil refers to DSG which is VW version of S-Tronic, like mine...
Hopefully it's not a common issue TSB (Technical service bulletin), I've had my fair share of issues ( Vacuum pump for brakes, in the sump for 3.0TDi £900, water pump £450, EGR valve £400).

Jesus a new car like that having issue as expencive as them does not bode well audi should pay I think

Audi took some of the cost (70% of the parts, I think) . Forked out 1200 GBP.

Park the car lock the car waiting 5 min start again everything normal
Still couldn’t fine problem
Any one help
