Any good independent garages in Clitheroe area?

I drive a 2003 A4 1.9TDi saloon and have just moved to the Clitheroe area. would appreciate any recommendations for good independent garages where I can have the car serviced. Previous experience suggests good independent does job just as well as main dealer, but considerably cheaper!! Ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

There is Brown Street Garage in Bolton.
I've had my timing belt service done there. He is not cheap but he knows his stuff.
Also beware he wants to change brake discs as soon as they reach the recommended limit :zx11: and will fail an MOT on it.

Advise you to get a quote from main dealers and one from him.

Try Bullen Brothers in Bury, I know its not that close to Clitheroe but they are excellent. VW in Bury send all cars their for MOT's which is how I got to find out about them, they only deal with VAG cars nothing else and really know their stuff.

If it's a straight forward job (servicing, MOT, brakes etc) I take mine to Motor Point in Clitheroe, in fact they've just MOT'd mine this morning - you usually get a free car wash out of them too!

I've always found them to be a sensible and honest bunch of lads - good on tyre prices as well. I've used them for the last 15 years without any trouble. You can reach them on 01200 427899
