Fuel return pump

Afternoon Gents.

Quick question if I may? When I stop the car and if I climb straight out, periodically I hear what's best described as a "bubbling" from under the drivers door. It doesn't do it all the time and I'm guessing its the fuel pump pulling the diesel back to the tank to save evaporation.

Any thoughts on if this is normal?

I have the same engine but have never heard this. Have you parked over a fountain?

Never heard it on my BiTdi either but i thought diesel does not evaporate like petrol. Far as i know it just sits there looking all wet and smelly!
