volume didnt work

Hi,

2014 a4 tech 2.0 TDI.

Yesterday the volume knob and steering wheel volume adjuster would not work. Any ideas?

Try reset mmi first and then check with cable fault codes, there has to be something maybe. As per your post - its now working again?

My 62 plate S-Line Black Edition B&O has just done the same thing, twice recently. Oddly enough if I swap from DAB to FM the volume control then works until I switch back to DAB. I wasnt dreaming as my wife was with me both times. The only way to clear the fault was to switch the ignition off and back on again. Not the sort of thing you want to do while you're driving.
Plus intermittent bad DAB reception.
Audi checked it out, no faults recorded.

At least I've got the fault logged with Audi before the warranty runs out!
I think I'll check the window aerial and cable to the receiver myself
