2003 Mk 1 1.6 petrol engine management light

engine management light comes on then goes off by itself . garage reset it but it came on again. engine running ok.
has anyone had this problem or have they any idea whats causing it

you need the fault code to be able to fix it. the garage should have this or be able to provide it. let us know what it is and we can help. without it, diagnosis is futile.
