hi all ive a jetta with 210,000km on it and looking to get it remapped for fuel economy as i do high mileage
i contacted a company here and they quoted 250 euro to do the job

the results they said i should achieve is
an eco map will give 28bhp 55nm of torque and upto 15% more fuel economy
or the combo/blend map gives slightly more power and an extra 5-10% fuel economy

do these figures sound achievable or can better be gotten

thanks

Complete fiction with regards to the mpg claims .

I've experience of an eco and performance on two different cars neither gained mpg .

What engine code do you have ?

Here we go, the normal BXE/BLS engine exploding stories are arriving.

if you remap it then yes you can get more mpg, but only if you drive slowly. if you use the extra power then you will get the same or less mpg.
