Is it possible/ has anybody tried to retro fit a load through hatch on a C7 avant? Not too bothered about having the ski bag fitted, but would like to have the load through hatch fitted...i have seen references to the C6, but it was a saloon.
much appreciated.
thanks

Easiest route would be to find a backrest with through load from a breakers and do a straight swap. Otherwise, looking at PartsBase.org - Catalogue of Auto Parts (http://Partsbase.org), you can probably order all the bits but it could get pricey. I was planning to spec this on my new Avant but Audi in their infinite wisdom decided as part of the facelift that you had to buy the Convenience Pack at over £800 to get it and I did not want the other bits

Thanks for the info. Will start looking into breakers yards. Just wondered - as with the c6, if there was the ability to cut through and retro fit a hatch. Not had a chance to explore behind the centre arm rest to see if there is a template to cut around. Also, do you think the c6 load through hatch would be compatible? Plenty of those on eBay....

Sorry don't know if it would be compatible. If you are cutting the hole yourself then you may be able to make it work
