Welcome to Briskoda

Is the charger any good ?

I would suggest getting a jump start, as you know the power is live.

The battery is good. The RAC came out and charded the battery.

Very Strange mate.

Have you tried to see if you can get it started, by jump starting it ?

Thanks guys, with your help I have found the problem.

First - Dont trust the guys from RAC. He said the battery is fine, when in fact it was showing 9 volts.

Second - when connecting the new battery, the systems come on but in the wrong sequence, the onboard computer does not recognise the car. The trick is to disconnect the battery and then on reconnection all systems work fine.

Thanks again. :beerchug:
