I recently presented my 5 year old TT for its service at the local Audi agent. Car is performing perfectly and has done less than 50k km (I live in Spain). it was a demo model so there have been only 2 registered holder, Audi and me. I have just been hit by a bill for €1,600. I was told that the battery was failing, the oil pump had a leak and there was a problem with the coolant system. I am a trusting sole and when Audi told me there is a problem I tend to believe them, given where I am in Spain I don't have a lot of choice. The issue I have is that I took it in for a service without being aware of any problems... So do any of you more experienced people have any thoughts on this. Given it's age, low millage and history should I be seeking some sort of commentary from head office?

Audi don't make batteries and a replacement should be no more than 150-200 euro.

A problem with the coolant system doesn't really identify anything....can you be more specific?

Did they charge you for a scan and if so did you get a copy?
