Altea XL roof bars

Hello all,

Just wanted to get the benefit of your experiences - I am looking at roof bars for my Altea XL and wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

I had seen a Farad set on eBay which seemed reasonable but some people have said to me to go for a Thule set. Are they really worth the extra money?

Am I missing any obvious issues?

I bought mine from an Audi (believe it was the Q3) because they are so much more readily available. Mine are the Cruz bars, and are more than capable (bikes, roof box etc).

One thing id say is there are may 2 inches taller than the aero ones you can get but that doesn't bother me.
