1.9TDI Low Rev Roar

Hi, my '04 1.9TDI (130PS) has started "groaning" at low revs. I've covered only 26K since new and nothing else in the car has changed or been modified. It seems to start at about 1400rpm and eases at around 1800-1900rpm. That's where I seem to spend most of my motoring so its pretty annoying. :aargh4:

Anyone else come across this one? :1zhelp:

Could this be the noise air conditioning compressor? I have something similar on my 1998 1.9TDi Sport where the noise from what I think is the aircon compressor is most noticeable at around 2000rpm. Perhaps you should try turning the aircon off and see if this makes any difference.
