Just got myself a 2001 A4tdi se and it would appear that the battery level is sitting at 10v so it won't start. Methinks a timing belt may be required as it had only been driven to me 15 mins earlier and to loose power that quickly would mean either timing belt change/tensioned or more worryingly a new alternator. If I get the belt is changing over a difficult task for an amateur??? How do I check the tension??
