Hi everyone,

I have been searching everywhere for a straight solution to my problem and if someone out there can point me in the right direction i'd love you forever!

Basically over the past 3 months the MIL light has come on intermittently, then it went from intermittently to permanent. The engine sounds fine, everything runs smooth so I thought nothing of it.

Then a week ago the coil (glowplug) warning light came on and started flashing, the car is now stuck in limp mode no matter what I do.

I bought a genuine VCDS kit (as an investment) and it threw up the following:

I can't gather much from it really, I know the DPF is close to being full but cannot perform a regen because VCDS won't let me (there is no label/config file for my car).

I can't work out what's causing the limp mode whether its the DPF being too close to the limit or if the throttle body/MAF is causing it.

Can anyone out there help who may have experienced this problem?

Thanks so much for your time!

I had the intermittent light for months, in the end didn't want to pay out for new inlet manifolds so I bought the linkage repair kit from audi £20 the pair and fitted myself problem solved for nearly 2 years funnily enough the light came back on today but the the link had just popped off,
