Hi Folks
I drive a year 2000 A6 Avant (110 BHP).
Recently I had a noticeable drop in power so took out the MAF sensor and cleaned it and hey presto, I've got all the power back BUT...not until I've hit 2500 RPM for the first time after starting.
So, it goes like this:confused:
Start car
Drive off with hardly any power:drive:
Reach 2500 RPM
Wallop! The power kicks in and stays there for all normal driving in all gears
Turn off the ignition then back to square one again
Unaffected by heat, length of time at idle, length of time ignition is onAny ideas please? Is this normal?
