Just a bit of advice for ipod users.

Setting up my ipod in a 'Roadtrip' cradle. No problems until the radio decided to emit a beep every few seconds. It also started a search for other channels all on its own.
Tried pressing and re-setting the various buttons to no avail until I pressed the TP button. That stopped it.
What exactly does the TP do? I know its some sort of messaging thing but I only have a 'french handbook.........:p

TP on mine is the "Traffic Updates"

I think its searching for a local station for the traffic updates.

This is correct, when a (bbc works best) bbc local radio station has a traffic report and you are within reception range, and provided you have turned this feature on, then whatever you are listening to will be interupted by the traffic broadcast. When the broadcast has finished, it will automatically switch back to what you had on before.
