Hi folks,
i have a 2005 a3 1.9tdi which has so far run faultlessly and give less grief than the 5 series.
a month ago the brake pads warning light came on dash,as it was time for service i asked the indy to look into it.upon inspection he found a broken connection on the left front and repaired it and found the pads nearly new. The pads warning stayed !!!
this morning the EPS light came and stayed on. Pluged the computer on (non genuine software) and fault came:
" Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)”
now the question is :
-is it time to bite the bullet and repair the abs unit £££ or investgate further ?
-would the ecu have got confused with the brake warning light for a long time and threw in another fault( did had that once on a old 7 series on way from scotland)
-any good experienced indy in guilford, esher or dorking area ?
thanks
Hardy
