Squealing brakes

Guys,
Anyone had issues with noisy brakes? Mine are starting to squeal as the car comes to a standstill. Also make a strange noise when damp. Going to take it into dealer in the next couple of weeks but just curious to see if anyone else has come across this. Car is 13 months old and 22,000 miles.

Mine is still squealing when it's cold. On the days when the weather was warmer I didn't notice it, as soon as the temperature drops below about 10 degrees. It's noticeable for the first few miles.

Mine does the same, squeals as it comes to a stop when cold or wet. Had it into one dealer who was clueless and then another who stripped the pads and discs, cleaned them and said any more problems bring it back and they will change them all for free. Not had chance yet but will be going back at some point.

I had the same problem when the brakes were cold and it was worse after heavy rain. I asked the dealership to clean and grease the slides and back of the pads while the car was in for an oil service a few weeks ago. No issues since.

So looks like I need to get it into the dealer. Thanks for the replies-at least it's not an isolated incident but it is annoying.

A little bit of the grease I linked to on the pad contact points usually sorts the squeak out
