2015 A6 MMI issues

Hello Chaps,

First time poster. I picked up an A6 Avant 3.0 Black Edition the first the other day and very pleased I am too.

I'll post pics up tomorrow when it stops bloody raining!

In the meantime I wonder if anyone can help me? I've gone for the upgraded nav package and I'm attempting to get the data working. I've bought a contract data only sim on Tesco Mobile (http://phone-shop.tesco.com/), put it in the SIM slot, registered on myaudi, entered the pin into the car and all I'm getting is: the server is not responding, please try again.

The SIM is showing on the sat nav (http://rd.shopzilla.co.uk/rd2?t=http%3A%2F%2Fjump.beezup.com%2F829%7E7552293 3%7E06b7b354d3094dc4bea49d01ad2570f1&mid=294619&catId=13006&atom=11107&prodId=&oid=6149849050&pos=1&bId=18&bidType=0&bAmt=70b005e67cee82d9&cobrand=2&ppr=3909223f2debc427&af_sid=35&rf=af1&af_assettype_id=10&af_creative_id=2912) and connection shows as good.

Any ideas? It's driving me bonkers!

I had the same probelm. It transpired that the SIM I had inserted was not "initialised" with the provider (my choice of word). To fix it, I stuck the SIM in a mobile and made sure it worked there - i had to log onto the provider's website and receive an SMS or some such pfaff. Then it worked in the car.

Nice looking car - hope you have fun with it!
Just wanted to ask, is the bottom front splitter on the car light grey/silver or is it just the light?
Just ordered mine and i have a long wait ahead!

It's just the light. I know your pain with regards to the wait.

I got to thinking that they must be carving the things out of solid!

I think it's part of the Black Edition spec. I don't recall ordering them specifically!
