Here yes, to VAG products no, I've had a VW on the drive since 1988 - a Scirocco GTII - got a family moved into a Passat, I've had at least one Passat ever since, including a W8, I now have two Passat B6 Estates one a sensible 2.0TDi the other a 3.2FSI 4motion and a VW Crafter CR35 Van and just unloaded an Audi A8 (D3) so I'm a bit of a VAG junkie.

Quite why I couldn't say - the Scirocco was one of the most unreliable cars I ever had (dirt got into the injection system through a corroded fuel filler and it was nothing but trouble from that day forward).

So I've learned to live with Passats, learned how to fix 'em, learned even how to stop them breaking in the first place.

I think I'll stick around a bit, see how friendly things are, maybe I can be of use, maybe not. We shall see.
