Frozen MMI

Hi all

Very strange thing happened on the way home from work tonight - my MMI screen went blank and the controls on the console froze - took a couple attempts to turn the engine off and lock the car before it seemed to reset itself. First time this has happened to me. I've got the facelift avant black edition - MMI has the tech pack. Any other FL owners experienced this? I'm guessing a software bug, but like I say first time this has happened to me in the 5 months since I've owned the car...

Yep, happened to me last week. screen went dead, eventually the MMI front screen came back, took about 20 mins! Has been ok since. Getting it checked out Monday, when the rear screen is changed, due to DAB switching off when the rear screen heater is on..not a good first 3 weeks.

You don't need to restart the car, you can restart the MMI yourself press and hold the button below for 2 seconds then release
