Hi All,
I recently purchase an A4 B6 Cabriolet V6 2.5 TDI, which I knew needed some attention.
So far I have done the following:
1. Face lifted the entire front end
2. Replace coolant
3. Replaced oil & filter
4. Replaced fuel filter
5. Replaced needle lift injector
When I got the car, I realised that it was missing some boost. I scanned the car and the needle lift sensor came up as a fault, so I assumed the lack of boost was to do with this, although there did not seem to be any misfiring. I decided to change the needle lift injector, however, the car still feels the same.
By turbo lag / lack of boost I mean the turbo doesn't seem to pick up until around 2500 - 3000 rpm.
I have VCDS, but very little knowledge on how to use it properly.
Can anyone give me any ideas on where to look on the car / vcds, or is anyone local ish to the Poole area that could help me out ? I can come to you, and don't mind paying for your services, just can't afford to go to a garage, as I have had a lot of expense recently.
