Audi Reverse Gear Selection Issues

Its getting hard to select reverse gear in my Audi A4 B8, any help where i need to start looking? for info A4 B8 TDI 6sp, 2008 with 59k on the clock, i'm booked into the garage but don't want to get the wool pulled over my eyes.

I take it all other gears are fine? Does the Stick sit vertical in the gate for 3rd -4th? If not, the linkage could be out of adjustment. Have you lifted up the gearstick gaiter to see whats happening under the stick when trying to engage reverse? May give you a clue.
