IPOD connectivity

Does anyone have a Mk5 with Ipod Prep? My parents have one on order, and I was going to buy them a Ipod for Christmas. I just wanted to check if it would work etc, and be able to use steering wheels controls?:confused:

all your answers would be in the audio asistance thread, but in short Yes, be sure to instruct your olds (or do it for them) no more than 6 play lists.

Why? there is only 6 buttons on the front of the stereo.
