Hi, I always use genuine parts whenever possible for my Audi's. I have a TPS account so it makes so much more sence especially serviceable items which are really well priced and cheaper than non oe products available.

I know the pollen filter for my 1.8t Quattro S-line is under £10 from TPS (audi part)

i have aver just bought an A4 cabriolet 2005 (55 plate) 1.8T and rifling through the paperwork came across a recent service where the pollen filter was an astonishing £44.86 + VAT at £8.97!

does this sound right as I would not have thought it would be any different from the saloon model??????

£12-13 for the filter, rest for the labour? half an hour. seems about right

Ahh, yes you are probably right, I forgot about the labour charge to fit it as the bill just says pollen filter!
