Evening all,
I own a 2012 2.0 TDi (140) BE A3, first registered in February 2012; bought the vehicle in January 2013 and I immediately had the car serviced by my local Audi main dealer on 19/02/14 (18856 miles) and asked the car be placed on the LongLife Service schedule. Just less than 12 months later it was serviced again (indicated by the DIS) on 29/12/14 (25723 miles).
Yesterday (21st March) the DIS indicated the car is due for another service in 30 days or 10,200 miles time! I wouldn’t cover 10,000 miles in 30 days so I presume it will be due after 30 days (say, end of April) This will be only four months and approx 1,600 miles after the last one on 29/12/14.
I know the LongLife service is dependent on personal driving style (Audi speak) but has anyone else found themselves in the same situation and if so what did you do?
I know I can probably just pop into Audi can ask them to reset the DIS, if it doesn't require servicing, but it will be a bit of a pain if this happens every three or four months.
Thanks,
Dave
