Fabia HTP. Control system for exhaust gases.

The exhaust warning light for exhaust gases has just come on.
The car is an 08 and done 24000.
There is no problem with the cars performance, any ideas??

1.2 HTP ? any fault codes logged ? could be a coil pack on the way out, Lambda sensor, intake air leak (eg. split breather hose ). A diagnostic scan would be useful starting point. maybe worst case exhaust valve leaking.
