Hi all,
After a couple of years lurking around the forum I have eventually taken the plunge and bought not 1 but 2 A6 Avants in the last month.
Avant 1 is a 2.0Tdi S Line in white, on a 62 plate with 50k miles. Bought that for the missus and to transport us and 3 kids in comfort to the South of France a couple of times a year. Have done around 1500 miles and very pleased so far.
Last weekend I collected a 1999 vintage C5 that I bought (without viewing) on eBay for six hundred quid. 1.8T with 185k on the clock. It needs the front brakes sorting, discs and pads, but otherwise very clean solid car. That's my daily driver so will be a bit of fun for me to fiddle about with. And it's LPG, bonus!
So my mrs gets the new one and I get the old banger. But pleased to be driving Audis again after a few years on the dark side.
