Hi, Major snag, so hoping someone here can help.

2010 Q5 S line, 70,000 miles full Audi service history .... engine cut out, recovered to local Audi dealer who diagnosed low fuel pressure, 2 weeks later after replacing the fuel system, HP pump, LP pump, filters, injectors and cleaning and flushing complete system (£8000) the reason given was that the inside of the HP fuel pump had disintegrated and forced it's metalic inards all round the fuel system.
They have been unable to get the engine running, even though the fuel pressure is fine.

Haven spoken to them at length, they seem at a loss as to why it won't run, I've confirmed with them the obvious, system bled, no air, good compression etc, check timing , does it need a remap?, but apart from them not being able to get the car running, ( It will fire and run for a couple of seconds) they are now have no idea and keep telling me that they are being led by Audi technical and have to keep emailing each other to try different things....however after 10 days it's still in the workshop.

Does anyone have any experience of similar probs?
