hi everyone just bought A4 1.8 SE seems great cant fault it 65.000 recorded miles love it. paid £1500 people tell me its worth it. 2000 x reg
any thoughts

£1,500 is very good, according to Parkers.co.uk.

I bought my A4 in February and love it, enjoy!

Gotta be bargain of the century! Did you really pay only £1500 or is that a mistype?! Does it have seats & wheels?!

yes thats all i paid previous owner going to live abroad wanted quick sale (brother of my boss) mot expires nov 2007. also not sure when t/belt should be changed any ideas ? had qote of £270 which includes w/pump fair price? has v5 on engine cover anybody know what it means.:confused:

cam belt and WATER pump is at 60k miles.

Get it done asap,

£270 is a fair price for the work, they have to take the front bumper off to do it so its time consuming! As for the V5, I can only assume this is in relation to having 5 valves per cyclinder.

ESP is the traction control system on the A4, I drive a 3.0 V6 Quattro Sport which is pretty powerful & 4-wheel drive so its a hoot to turn the ESP off and give the car some welly, stylish powerslides galore!!

sounds cool, for me with my first audi A4 nothing but respect for now;)
cheers nickynibbles car goes in monday for t/belt/w/pump and v/belt what ever that is.
