I also have this fault code showing and expect to order a new sensor soon. I crawled under and disconnected it and reconnected it in case the connection was the problem, but that did not sort it. Were you thinking of trying a S/H part, or did you think that a non-oem part would do?

Can't seem to find a second hand part, new part costs 108 quid so going to buy Tomoz, how did you undo connector as I tried today but could not seem to be able to pull it off ☺️

You need to push in the end of the little lever the inner end of which catches on a raised part of the socket. Then a bit of a wiggle should release it.
not a lot of force is required if the little lever is pressed. once you get the new part, you should be able to see how it works.
Let us know how you get on.

You need to push the little lever part in towards the body of the plug. It is like a little rocker. If you push in the outer end i.e. the end at the wires end of the plug, it will rock in and the other end (which you cannot see) will rock out so that the barb at that end ceases to catch the bar on the body of the sensor.

Audi Cardiff is selling them for £84 including delivery you can call them on 02920547568, cheaper than the other dealers for some reason !!!

sensor changed and all sorted, not easy getting the thing off though and for anyone trying this then a tip from me is don't try to remove plug connector until you have removed actual the sensor, much easier this way !!!

Hi guys, having the same problem here. What was the part code? Where the sensor is located exactly?
