Hi,
Need some advice about my golf. It’s a Y reg 2001 TDi S. Its coming up to the 80,000 mark and I have noticed some problems. Most of all the lack of power when accelerating, It was never the fastest car at the best of times but now if I’m on the motorway in 4th or 5th as soon as I hit a slight hill I can watch the speed drop and have to change gear.
Turbo seems to be working I can hear it spin up when I put my foot down, could this be a problem with Mass air flow and if so how can I check or test this. Plus if this is the case is it
A hard to fit myself
B where can I get the parts?
