After putting in a new battery a few weeks ago the Emissions light started glowing amber
Light went off again the next day, then came on again a couple of days later
Car drives fine
Not used it much as been snowed in and also been away
Took it in to the Audi dealers in Sheffield today to check this out
Unfortunately she couldn't tell me very much detail over the phone
Something about the power steering? £1700 to replace something
£330 for further diagnostics required - earth fault?
Apparently they would need to strip down the ECU (or something) to locate this
I'm going back tomorrow for full details
They can't do it straight away in any case
Wondering if anyone can recommend an independent specialist near Sheffield who might be able to help at more reasonable rates
