Which coolant temp sensort

Looking for a bit of advice, the temperature on my passat 1.9tdi is showing very low. I have changed the thermostat but it is not much better so I recon the sensor needs replaced. I had a look on Ebay and there seems to be a variation on prices from £5 up to £14. Some claim to be O.E. Equipment. Has anyone tried any of these and which do they recommend. The reason I am looking online is that I am not near a VW dealer and to get one posted would be easier.

Genuine one from Audi/Seat/Skoda/VW, don't buy non genuine ones, even ones which claim to be "oe quality".

a dealer will post one out to you if you ask niecely, and probably cheaper than some of the cheaper ones.

yes seconded, I bought a supposed OEM one from ebay for about £12, changed within 6 months for a genuine one which I bought from the Skoda dealer...was strangely slightly cheaper than VW for same part
