Anyone know if the rear seatbelt from a mk3 will plug into the socket of a mk4 (it's actually a 2000 cabrio - a mk3 facelift really!)
Basically what I want to achive is a 3rd belt in the rear. I am looking at buting a set of mk3 belts off ebay and using one of the 3 point belts and the double "socket" - don't know the correct name for them to create a 3rd middle belt. Not fussed about the inertia reel part of this as it will be hidden, just trying to find out if the "plugs" on the mk4 belts will go into the mk3 socket when I change it from a single to double.
