VCDS is best or you could buy a brake rewind tool from a well known auction site.

I wouldn't dive it like that anyway. You can bite the bullet and buy VCDS, it's now the same price as 2 main dealer scans. Foxwell is supposedly a good tool I have never used one so I can't say. Some of the guys on here travel around and may be passing near you. I'd avoid the Chinese hand-held tools and anyway they'd take a month to arrive. https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCHU.html

I've never used one but the Foxwell NT500 looks like quite a good tool. It seems to do almost everything VCDS does at less than half the price and has the advantage that you don't need to lug a laptop around with you

Seems like a decent tool for the home mechanic, Gendan sells it and I trust them
