Noises Aft

At 6000 miles and on a cold morning I'm hearing an occasional dull 'Thud' somewhere in the nearside rear area.
I cannot pin it down to either cornering or gear-change and the dealer's crew claim nothing appears out of whack but it mostly occurs first thing on the road every day and when turning right.:confused:

Does anyone have any similar experiences ?
