Which brake pads???

Hi everyone,

I've got a 2003 a4 Tdi Sport 130.

My brake pad warning light came on today. I've taken a look around and apparently there are two types of brake pads available.

i have no idea which one mine might be so though I would post a question up here to see if anyone else has any advice.

A main dealer or motor factor will get the correct pads using your reg. Buy Pagid

check your data sticker in the boot and get the PR number,I too would recommend pagid.

you might be surprised at dealer prices, especially for older cars. your local vw dealer can also check via your vin too.

Motor factors good place to shop and eBay. I replaced all discs and pads with brembo at a fraction of the cost of main dealer and uprated discs to drilled and grooved all round vast improvement on my a4 b6 2002.

Thanks very much for your help. I'm surprised that pads and discs would vary so much on a specific model. I've tried speaking to Euro car parts online and they did not know and advised I speak with Audi!! Ill have a look for this data sticker and take a trip to my local dealer I think.
