Fabia none starter after emergency braking.

Can you boffins help?

We have a 02 plate Fabia 1.9 tdi. aprox 80k miles. No issues and well maintained.

My sister had to brake very hard to avoid a car pulling out in front of her.
The car stalled on breaking and has since failed to start.
The car was taken to a loacl garage and the code....

Cam engine A/C communications missing or faulty signal

The car does not have air con. when you clear the code the engine will start but run roughly then
stop when the code re-appears.
The engine has I think over tilted on the emergency stop and pulled something on the wiring loom. has anyone any thoughts on this.

tricky one. first off i would check the timing belt is intact. then plug vcds or other suitable computer in. where in the world are you.

thanks for the reply. I have since got more info. The car has a fault code of Cam engine A/C comms missing or faulty signal. No A/C fitted. Clear the code and the engine will start
but run rough untill the code re- appears then cuts out again. I think the loom has pulled on over rotation of the engine on its mounts on the emergency stop.
any ideas on where to look. The car is in Mossley near Manchseter
